We made it...

I can't beleive that I am actually here in Roatan with Mark. I wasn't sure we were going to make it!

Our flight was bumped up an hour, but we never found out (I'm sure they called, but we were at Fab Friday until 1:30 a.m (we got to sleep about 2 am and woke up at 4:00am) ) We arrived at the airport at 5:30 am and proceeded to self check -in. We noticed a change in are time and realized that our flight had been changed. We were quickly helped and had to run to catch our flight!) Luckily we made it. If we had missed the flight to Roatan we would have missed the only flight that Delta has to Roatan until the next week!
What an adventure, I wasn't looking for so much adventure already, especially on only 2 hours of sleep! Now I know a good reason why I should be at the airport 2 hours early! Thank goodness Mark likes to be early (I wasn't saying that at 4 am when it was time to get ready)
But I was saying it (under my breath) when we were taking our seats on the plane just minutes before it took off.

I have been trying to load some pictures, but it has been very slow or not working at all. Here is one. It has been raining all day, I think that is why it is slow. I will try to post some tomorrow (sorry kids! I know your anxious to see more!)
More to come.....

Push up challenge update

Update: We just started our 4th week last night for the one hundred push up challenge. I did a total of 67 push ups last night! Here are the sets I did....12, 14, 11, 10, & 20. The last set was soooo hard! but I did it!

Mark: 21, 25, 21, 21, 32 total: 120

Lizzy: 18, 22, 16, 16, 25 total: 82

Sarah: 18,22,16, 16, 25 total: 82

Parker: 12, 14, 11, 10, 16 total: 63

Jakey : He thinks he did the same as Parker:)

I think next week (Mark and I will be in Honduras!) we will repeat this week. It starts to get harder by adding 2 more sets to the routine. So when the family is all back together we will move on.

FHE Pumpkin Carving 10-27-08

right before we started, Sarah checked the mail.....wouldn't you know it...halloween cards from cousin JoAnn! The kids were so excited that they stopped everything and opened them up....Thanks for always thinking of us Jo Ann. We miss and love you too.

Jakey drew this all by himself! Parker hates to get his hands slimy and gooey

Mark dared Sarah to eat some pumpkin...she never swallowed!

The lighting of the Pumpkins.....it was FREEZING outside!
